Sydney Wilkins of The Hockaday School will be Reading Her Paper "From Snow and a Woman" at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium Hosted at The Oakridge School


The Oakridge School welcomes Sydney Wilkins of The Hockaday School who will be presenting her paper, “From Snow and a Woman,” at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium this February 6th. Congratulations Sydney! We look forward to hearing your presentation.
Sydney Wilkins has attended The Hockaday School for the past four years. In school, she enjoys participating in the school plays, the Fine Arts Boards, the Girl Talk community service program, and writing for her school’s newspaper. Outside of school, Sydney is a member of the National Charity League and Teenage Communication Theater. Teenage Communication Theater is a community service program through which teens educate the Dallas community on different social issues through interactive skits. In college, Sydney hopes to major broadcast journalism and minor in music business or public relations. 
Ms. Wilkins will be reading her paper during the second block of presentations in a session entitled “The Intersection of Film and Text: Hockaday School Examines The Dead.” The location of the session will be announced soon.
