Kelly Gross of Southwest Christian School will be Reading Her Paper "Confinement, Paralysis, and Choosing to Live" at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium at The Oakridge School


The Oakridge School is proud to announce that Kelly Gross of Southwest Christian School will be presenting her paper, “Confinement, Paralysis, and Choosing to Live” at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium on February, 6th.
Kelly Gross has been at Southwest Christian School for fifteen years, and is eagerly looking forward to college life next year. She intends on following a pre-medical track at Hendrix College, Northeastern University, or Boston University. As such, she enjoys volunteering at Cook Children’s Hospital.  A proud participant in the theatre arts, she has been in fourteen shows and is currently preparing to play the role of Madame Thenardier in her school’s upcoming production of Les Miserables. Her other passions include cheerleading, reading, writing, and listening to music. 
Ms. Gross will be reading her paper during the second block of presentations in a session entitled “Examining Paralysis in A Little Cloud and Other Stories of James Joyce’s Dubliners.” The location of session will be announced soon.
