The Oakridge School proudly announces that Maya Deshpande of The Hockaday School will be presenting her paper, “Araby and The Dead: The Pitfalls of Eros,” at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium this February 6th.
Maya Deshpande is a senior at the Hockaday School, and has attended Hockaday since the 7th grade. She is interested in biology, literature, and politics, has been an active member of the Hockaday debate team for 4 years, and has done classical Indian dance for 8 years.
Ms. Deshpande will be reading her paper during the first block of presentations in a session entitled “Failed Quests in Araby and Beyond.” The location of the session will be announce soon.
