Meyer Thalheimer of St. Mark's School will be Reading His Paper "Lacan's Dublin" at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium at The Oakridge School


The Oakridge School is pleased to announce that Meyer Thalheimer of St. Mark’s School will be presenting his paper, “Lacan’s Dublin,” at the 2013 Dubliners Colloquium on February 6th.

Meyer is a senior at St. Mark’s, where he has been a student there since the seventh grade. An avid debater, he enjoys the historical, philosophical, and political interplay ever-present in literary criticism. He is president of the debate team and co-founder of the school Political Forum as well as a proud National Merit Semifinalist.

Mr. Thalheimer will be reading his paper during the second block of presentations in a session entitled “Truth, Narrative, and the Masking of the Real in Joyce’s Dubliners.” The location of the session will be announced soon.
